May 3, 2008	Mebane United Methodist Church Annual Yard, Bake, Book Sale Event Description: Mebane United Methodist Church will be having its annual Yard / Bake / Book Sale on Saturday May 3rd beginning at 7:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. Wide variety of items including upright piano, home decor, little tikes childrens' picnic table, toys, electronics, cribs, name brand childrens' clothing and shoes, huge selection of hardback and paperback adult and childrens' books plus much, much more all available at excellent prices. Mebane United Methodist Church is located at 200 South Fourth Street in Mebane.
June 13 - 14, 2008	Occaneechi-Saponi PowWow Event Description: Traditional Music, Dance, Food & Crafts. MC: John "Blackfeather" Jeffries. General Admission $6, Seniors and children under 12-$3. Location: 4902 Daily Store Road, Burlington, NC 27217, 11 miles north of Mebane off Hwy.119. Grounds open Friday @ 5:00pm and Saturday @ 10:00am. Close each night at 9:00pm.
